There aren’t many places to do that, but you can at least drive on the beach in many places in Washington.

RV Now has a post about RV showers and whether we use the park shower facilities or the shower in the rig.
We use the shower in the rig. The six gallon water heater does just fine at supplying all the hot water we need, and the shower is a decent size. The only time we might use the campground shower would be if we were dry camping for several days and felt we didn’t have enough fresh water or grey water holding capacity. We’ve never been in that situation yet.
Winterized The Admiral for the first time today. It’s been cold enough this week, that it should have been done sooner, but we didn’t have a means to do so, since we went to Bellingham last weekend and didn’t get back until after dark.
It took a while this time as I had to figure it out this time. Especially how to get the drain plug out of the hot water tank. I had to remove some screws attaching the flame holder and igniter unit to get a wrench on the plug. I think I need a 1″ socket so I can get to it without disassembling the heater.
Poor design on that one.

Canada’s Provincial Parks are some of the most scenic camping areas in all of North America. You should make a point to visit them if you wish to go north.

Seems many hospitals have RV parking available if you need to stay to take care of family members, or need to stay a short time before or after a hospital stay.
Since the cost of a Hotel can be prohibitive, this is a useful option.
Here’s a post and a newspaper article about Jerry Martinez, who drives his motorhome 30 to 40 thousand miles per year to attend every Seattle Seahawks football game.
